Dallas Texas area casting call for speaking roles and extras in a segment for the Discovery show “Taking Flight“
On Location Casting is seeking Dallas area actors available to work between the 8th and 10th of next week. This will be a one day shoot but the actual date is still to be determined.
DALLAS, TX – CASTING NOTICE for Discovery Channel TV series “Taking Flight” (NEW Segment – “Repo Rookie”)

Tentative Shoot Date: *will be ONE of the following dates so please keep ALL of them open if submitting – Wednesday 4/8/15, Thursday 4/9/15 or Friday 4/10/15
Shoot Location: DALLAS, TX
Pay rate:
EXTRAS – $80.00/10 hours ($8.00/hour)
LEADS – $150.00/day (could be higher up to $200.00/day depending on how featured you are and how many lines you are given
Union Status: Non-Union

AIRPORT WORKERS: male, all ethnicities, age range late 30s-late 40s, blue collar, a little bit rough around the edges
LEADS: (will have possible scripted and non-scripted lines so should be comfortable acting/speaking on camera)
AIRPORT MECHANICS: male, all ethnicities, age range 20s-40s, blue collar, a little bit rough around the edges, interesting (*please also specify if you are willing to work as an Extra or Lead only)
AIRPORT OFFICIAL: male, all ethnicities, age range 40s-50s, conservative, professional but with a bit of an edge
PHOTO SUBMISSIONS ASAP via email to: TakingFlightCast@gmail.com with subject line TAKING FLIGHT DALLAS (“specify role”). Submissions MUST include ALL of the following: 2 RECENT photos taken within the past month (one head shot and one full body shot), first & last name, contact number, height, weight, city you are located in and please describe your acting experience or experience relevant to the role. Photos should be of you alone with no one else in photo, NO sunglasses and against a plain/solid color background!! **PLEASE ALSO submit a short (1-2 minute) video of yourself. Does not have to be professional, can simply be shot with your camera phone.
– Video MUST be in .mov., mp3, or mpg format – we can NOT submit Youtube videos.
– Video should NOT be shot into a mirror. You should not be wearing sunglasses.
– Video should have decent lighting and no loud background sounds. Preferably shot against a solid color background.
In the Video please state your FULL name, where you are located and tell us something about yourself so we can get a feel for your personality and how you come across on camera.

YOU WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED for LEAD ROLES WITHOUT INCLUDING A VIDEO submission!
SUBMISSION DEADLINE is THURSDAY 4/2/15 at 5:00pm, however earlier submissions are preferred so that we can get your photos in front of the Client quicker and have you send in an audition video!
