Tom Cruise “Mena” Movie Casting Call for Featured Roles, Kids & Extras

“Mena”  starring Tom Cruise is filming in the Atlanta area through July 10th.

The project has a new casting call out for upcoming scenes. Central is seeking 3 kids to fill the featured roles of Dean (5), Aaron (3) and Christine (7 to 8). The kids would be working in the Atlanta area on Wednesday, the 24th. Mena  is also looking to cast extras, male and female, ages 30s to 40s, with an upscale, business look.

Doug Liman and Tom Cruise are reuniting for the Universal Pictures film.  Liman and Cruise last worked together on the sci-fi film “Edge of Tomorrow”.  Doug Liman is helming the project which is written by newcomer Gary Spinelli.   Mena takes place in the 70s and 80s , focusing on the scheme in which US government officials went around an embargo and secretly sold weapons to Iran.  Mena  is described as a thriller and focuses on a pilot (Tom Cruise) caught up in the events that led to the Iran Contra Scandal. Tom Cruise plays an ex navy seal  and recently fired TWA pilot who gets approached by the CIA.  He takes a job as a pilot for the South American smuggling ring which is being run by the CIA.

For the movie, MENA working on Wednesday, 6-24 in the Atlanta area, we are looking for the following featured roles for kids!

1) Dean – 5 yr old, Caucasian looking boy, cute with brown hair (no crew cuts).
2) Aaron – 3 yr old, Caucasian looking boy, cute with brown hair (no crew cuts).
3) Christine – 7-8 yr old, Caucasian looking girl, cute with long, light blonde hair

For a fitting on Wednesday 6/24 to work on Thursday 6/25 on MENA in the Atlanta area, we are looking for some very upscale business types, all ethnicities, male and female who appear to be in their 30s – early 40s. No shaved heads or crew cuts on men. Women should be a dress size 10 or smaller, men should be a coat size 44 or smaller.
