Seeking Talent in Worcester for Independent Film shooting in Massachusetts

Movie fans in the Worcester area will have an opportunity to appear in “Black Car” an independent film set the morning after an intoxicated law school student unsuspectingly steps into an “Uber” style black sedan, (i.e. NetCar) she wakes up confused and alone in a mysterious motel – the victim of foul play. Frustrated by the slow pace of the justice system, she takes matters into her own hands. She becomes a “NetCar” driver herself and goes on a crusade to find and stop the serial criminal to whom she fell victim.
The thriller is filming in Worcester and is seeking talent in the area, to play pedestrians, night club patrons, night club staff, police department personnel, students, crime scene technicians, diner patrons, diner staff and motel patrons. Talent applying must be able to supply their own wardrobe and depending on the role the costume department is looking for extras to have of business, casual, student, and/or nightclub attire, however, for some roles wardrobe will be provided. The property department is looking for some extras to have textbooks, laptop computers or tablets, cell phones, skateboards, strollers and/or Frisbee.
Some extras must be available to do interior and exterior overnight scenes in the Worcester area. The current shooting schedule will begin on May 31, 2015 and end on June 16, 2015. The actual day of shooting for the extra will be based on the role assigned. Must be 18+ to work and live in Massachusetts area. We are seeking NONUNION talent to portray these roles and there is no compensation. Additionally, all extras must be able to self-report to the set in Worcester as no transportation will be provided.
