Open non union cast call for production of Dan Callahan’s Come On In, a new feature length psychodrama. A disenchanted artist suffers an inexplicable mental crisis that leads him on a vision quest through his own psyche. The film blends the quirky surrealism of Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind with the interpersonal drama of A Beautiful Mind all through the unique perspective of a millennial person of color, Come On In promises a visual treat both familiar and uncommon in all the right ways.
This Emerson MFA Graduate Thesis project is written & directed by transmedia artist & designer Daniel Callahan. Come On In features Callahan’s signature artwork, which merges various disciplines including but not limited to film, music, photography, performance and digital collage to create immersive experiences that seek to reveal the inner humanity that links us to each other and to our world. His work has been shown in the Museum of Fine Arts, The Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, the Institute of Contemporary Art and The Queens Museum and has been featured in such publications as Believer Magazine and The Bay State Banner.
