SHOOTING DATES AND LOCATION: Various weekend dates throughout the first 4 weekends in April.
Max, a 30-something homeless break-dancer, finds a business suit in a dumpster. Trying it on leads to a case of mistaken identity, forcing him to assume the role of a hot-shot defense lawyer for an uppity socialite who got into a scuffle with a pal from his life on the street, Mickey. With thousands of dollars on the line if he wins, he and Mickey band together to throw the case and get the cash.
CHARACTER BREAKDOWN:
Max: A down-on-his-luck, homeless break dancer, 25-40 will make the most of any opportunity to get ahead even if that means not being the most honest. After finding a new suit in a dumpster, he is mistaken for Felicity’s lawyer in her defense against Mickey (with the promise of a big paycheck). Dancing skills preferred.
Mickey: A scrappy balloon salesman, 18-25, and Max’s right-hand man. An altercation on the street with Felicity resulted in a broken balloon pump, so he turns to the law to help him get back what he deserves. Though not very book-smart, he’ll put his street knowledge and fiery energy behind any scheme Bradley can concoct. Dancing skills preferred.
Felicity: Rich, detached, and self-important, 25-50, can’t even handle the annoyance of Mickey’s lawsuit against her.
Reimbursements for food and transportation and a copy of the film upon completion.
