Auditions in Australia for Singers and Dancers to Join Royal Caribbean Cruises

Auditions for singers and dancers are coming to three major Australian cities this coming week.

Upcoming auditions in Australia, for Royal Caribbean Cruises. The company is looking for singers and dancers to join the musicals performed on board one of their luxury cruise ships. Casting directors for the cruise line will be hosting an open call for singers, dancers and performers to play costumed characters (Melbourne).

Royal Caribbean Auditions will be held in Brisbane Australia on the 14th, Melbourne on the 16th and Sydney, Australia on the 19th of this month.

Royal Caribbean productions employs performers on-board ship for their various live, staged productions, musicals and shows.  The cruise line produces Broadway caliber shows including the hit musicals “Grease“, “Mamma Mia“, “Saturday Night Fever” and “Cats“.  The company offers 5-7 month performance contracts with competitive pay. Performing on-board ship has many perks and performers cast for the show will travel the world in style while getting paid to do what they love, perform.

Audition Requirements for Singers:

Royal Caribbean Productions is seeking professional, seasoned, and versatile singers ages 18-40 with vocal styles that include: Pop/Rock, R&B, Contemporary Musical Theatre/Broadway, and Jazz.  Strong acting ability and foreign languages are a plus.

Prior to your audition you will need to print out and prepare the audition material required.

Also, come prepared with 2 songs of your choice that best shows your talent and personality. Please prepare 16 bars and bring sheet music in the proper key. An accompanist will be provided. No a cappella or tracks permitted.  All singers may be taught a dance/movement combination and should bring proper dance attire that best shows your figure.  Please be sure to bring your current headshot and resume.

Ladies – Vocal range between G3 – C6, with a strong, controlled belt/mix up to an F5. See Female Audition Material

Males – Vocal range between A2 – A4 and must be able to sustain upper notes.  Some roles require a strong falsetto up to an F5. See Male Audition Material

Audition Requirements for Dancers:

Royal Caribbean Productions is seeking strong seasoned versatile, technically trained, professional dancers ages 18-35. Strong performance ability is a plus.

Our choreographer will teach three challenging combinations of contrasting styles at the “live” auditions. Proper dance attire that best shows your figure is required. Please be sure to bring your current headshot and resume.
