Casting call for a student film
My name is Shei’Tia Benson, I am a student filmmaker at Howard University. I am currently producing a short film called “One Year Older” in the Washington, DC area. There are two flyers attached below with more details about the project.
One Year Older, a Short film (of a larger series) to be distributed through the film festival circuit. The project is seeking non-union actors in the DC area as well as some crew.
Shooting schedule: April 3rd & April 10th 2016
Shooting location(s): Washington, DC
Logline: On the countdown to her 21st birthday, Danielle attempts to change her male best friend’s sexuality with whom she’s in love
Crew positions needed: Cinematographer, 1st AC, 1st AD, Sound/Mixer, Editor, Production assistant, Wardrobe/Make-up Artist
Casting: 1 Female and 1 Male age 18-25, 6 Females and 6 Males ages 18-50
Compensation: non-paid, film credit, meals, snacks/beverages
