Clyde is the story of an old man, seeking community from the thousands of photographs he surrounds himself with. Although he appears happy, he is weighed down by a deep secret. At its heart, Clyde is an illumination of loneliness, and the inherent human desire for connection.
Seeking:
Clyde: Male, 70’s-80’s An “adorable old man,” harboring something secret. Appears joyful, but masks an unrelenting loneliness.
Marcie: Female, early 20’s. Upbeat and quirky, but can also show great sympathy. Must have bangs, or be willing to cut hair for them.
Woman: Female, 50’s-60’s. Complacent, disinterested in her job and interactions with others.
