Short Plot Summary:
RIVER, MARLEY, and DOMINIQUE are three girls who come from a bad family background in Arizona. RIVER and MARLEY want to become famous. RIVER wants to be an actress and MARLEY wants to sing. DOMINIQUE is more of their support. They venture out to San Diego in hopes of finding fame. Then they run across JODIE who introduces them to a group of guys who are addicted to drugs. The guys lie and say they know someone in the film industry who can help them out. But truly they don’t and the girls get hooked on a journey of cocaine. They lose themselves and one of them gets truly lost. It is then they realize that fame is only good from afar.

Only Good From Afar is a film that will be the same length as a full length movie. It will run about one hour and forty five minutes. Filming will take place in May but several rehearsals will be held over the next few months prior to then. You do not have to have any experience to audition. We are looking for some fresh faces. This is all student run, and it will be submit to several film festivals including SunDance International. This film is Non Union.

We are currently working on funding and once that is all set in stone, we will pay accordingly to your role.
