AUDITION NOTICE:
The short film LOUISE will be holding auditions by appointment this Sunday, May 29th from 10:00am-5:00pm in Columbus. If you have any questions or want to schedule an appointment to audition please see the attached flyer for information. We are planning on filming June 10-12. We also accept video auditions!
Sunday, May 29th from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM Location: TBA (will most likely be downtown) Columbus, OH Louise follows the relationship between a father and daughter as they struggle to connect after a tragedy. Louise takes comfort in her dog Dalton, but her father has taken his grief with alcohol. After Louise’s dog is hit by a passing truck, she and her father finally get the opportunity to communicate with each other.
LOUISE//Female//14-20 yrs Louise is mature for her age and has been trying to keep her home in order after the death of her mother. She has a very special bond with her dog Dalton but struggles to communicate and connect with her own father.
Please take note that this role will heavily involve working with a trained dog. FATHER//Male//40’s-50’s A grieving and temperamental man who recently lost his wife. Since the tragedy, he has resorted to stop taking care his household. Although he loves her, he has since failed to connect and communicate with his daughter over the tragedy.
Auditions will be held by appointment, and sides will be provided via email. If possible, please bring a headshot and résumé. Video auditions will be accepted. Louise is planned to shoot June 10, 11, & 12th in the Springfield, Ohio area.
