This is an ultra-low budget production; meals/copy/credit will be provided. Sides and audition location will be sent separately.
Auditions will be held January 8th from 11am-2pm. Selected actors will be informed the official day/time as soon as possible.
Production will be for one day only near late January/early February.
Non-Union actors are needed for the web series entitled “The New Adult.” It is about AMBER, a 30-something female slacker who has been forced to learn how to live on her own. Five episodes have already been produced, and we are currently casting for the sixth episode (finale).

CASTING FOR:
[WILLIAM](Amber’s father) 55-70, male African American; In the vein of Cliff Huxtable, he’s worked hard to earn the upper-middle class lifestyle. He’s a retired city planner and loving every minute of it, playing golf and tennis whenever he can. When it comes to his only child Amber, he can’t help but have a soft spot for her even in the most difficult situations. He’s kind and ultimately has the best of intentions. Often, he unwittingly comes off as patronizing.
[TAMMY](Amber’s mother) 55-70, female African American; In general, she’s very sophisticated – regal, even. She has high expectations for Amber, and even though she has disappointed her time and again, she has not given up on wanting the best for her daughter. As much as she doesn’t like doing it, Tammy winds up being the “tough love” parent. A retired English professor, she’s treating her retirement as a second “college” phase, reigniting her wild side with natural hallucinogens.
