If you live in the L.A area, here’s a chance to make some extra seasonal cash.

Universal Studios Hollywood (Universal City) is holding auditions for actors top work in their annual production of Halloween Horror Nights 2016.  Universal is looking for local actors who would love to play monsters and other creatures that may go bump in the night for the Halloween attraction. The interactive show is especially interested in actors who possess some scare-ability and are ready to prove it.

Auditions will take place during the second week of July and will be by appointment only. Please see the details below along with the link to book an audition slot.

Seeking:

Energetic male and female performers to portray various types of monsters throughout Halloween Horror Nights 2016.
Energetic male and female stilt walkers with intermediate to advanced levels of stilt walking** experience to portray various types of monsters throughout Halloween Horror Nights 2016.
July 7th, 8th, and 9th, 2016

Scare actors and Stilt Walkers:

  • Performers will be asked to do some improvisation and demonstrate “scare-abilities”.
  • Please come dressed to move.
  • Current headshot and resume preferred.
  • Performance spaces may include one or more of the following: tight spaces, darkness, strobe lighting and fog effects.
  • Height in range of 6’+ a plus.
  • Performers must be available for possible event days in September through November for casting consideration.

**Stilt walkers please note: Select performers will be called back at a later date for stilt walking consideration. Intermediate to advanced levels of stilt walking experience required.

All performers hired for these positions will be covered under the terms and conditions of a collective bargaining agreement with the American Guild of Variety Artists (AGVA).

A general parking pass will be provided upon sign-up. Please bring your general parking pass to receive complimentary parking.

Must be 18+ years old, and be able to provide proof of eligibility to work within the United States.
