Baby Casting Call for “Jumanji” Starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson in ATL

Now casting “Jumanji” – New castings are out.

Jumanji” is now filming in the Atlanta area and the movie is looking to cast many small roles which include featured roles, extras, stand-ins and photo doubles. Casting directors for the project with Central Casting are seeking locals to fill upcoming background roles and also have been releasing casting notices weekly for their current talent needs.

At this time, Central Casting is holding an open casting callat their Atlanta office daily. Talent interested in landing a small part in this film can stop by Central’s Atlanta office  between 10 AM and 2 PM Monday through Friday to get their photo taken and register with the casting department.  All roles are paid and absolutely no experience is required.

While the casting team for “Jumanji” is accepting general submissions from ATL area talent… or those simply looking to make a bit of extra cash for the coming holiday season, there are some very specific roles that casting directors would love to see filled ASAP. Jumanji casting

According to “Jumanji’s” IMDB page, “Jumanji” stars Karen Gillan, Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Jack Black and Nick Jonas. The IMDB description is a bit vague and only states that “Explorers go looking for the humankind game that had ended up in a mystical jungle.” Jake Kasdan is directing the project with Chris McKenna and Jeff Pinkner credited as writers on the film. As of now, not much more is known about the plot of the upcoming “Jumanji” film and the current release date for “Jumanji” is set as the later part of 2017.

The original “Jumanji” starred  Robin Williams, Kirsten Dunst, Bradley Pierce, David Alan Grier, Bonnie Hunt, Jonathan Hyde, and Bebe Neuwirth.  The movie was a family adventure and focused on a board game which took players for a ride…. literally.  The original movie premiered in 1995 and was directed by Joe Johnston.  The original “Jumangi” movie was actually an  adaptation of children’s book  released in 1981.

Please only apply if you actually live in the area. If you live in ATL but do not fit the role descriptions below… its OK, since there will be many more casting calls coming up and general submissions are also being accepted at their offices.

Jumanji is Looking for BABIES
Wednesday 12/14 – Atlanta, GA
Now taking PHOTO submissions for BG roles that will be chosen by the film’s director. Photos should be CURRENT and in good lighting. Filming will take place in Atlanta on Wednesday Dec. 14.
*INFANTS: Looking for twins or a singleton, around 6 months to 1 year old, who appear to be Caucasian with brown hair. If submitting twins, please send a photo showing both children next to each other!

    I would love to cast in Jumanji. I have sent emails to other casting calls none have replied and I really hope and pray this will be my chance. I will give it my all no matter what role, big or small. The only thing that’s the problem is that I live in San Diego. As I said, it may be a problem but I promise I will try to do my best at whatever role I will get.
