The Eden 2.0 Production Team is looking for actors for an upcoming workshop of Eden 2.0, written by Nicholas Djukic Cocks and directed by Nigel Semaj B. The workshop of this production will hopefully lead to a fully mounted production in the near future.
Eden 2.0 is a program that seems to be a video game. The God of Eden 2.0 generates two players to populate what they see as a game overrun with monsters. However, these players are not like God’s other creations. They do not take their duty to rid the game of monsters easily. They are rebellious, skeptical, playful, naive, and most importantly: unhappy with their lives.
All performers are given equal opportunity casting – groups that have traditionally been underrepresented, including African American, Asian American, Latino, Native American, Pacific Islander, LGBTQ actors and/or performers with disabilities are highly encouraged to submit materials. Rehearsals will begin July 23, 2017 with performances on Friday, August 18 & Saturday, August 19 at 7:30p, and Sunday, August 20 at 2:30p at the Huntington Free Library & Reading Room.
