She is writing a short horror story for a writing competition, and gets obsessed with her research, soon she begins to see paranormal things that make her question her sanity, and make her doubt whether she should keep writing.

Age: 40-50
Sarah Reese’s widowed mother. At first glance she appears like a very happy housewife, but behind her chipper exterior is a cunningly smart sociopathic killer.
Mrs. Reese (Young)
Race: White
Age: Early 20s
Mrs. Reese in a completely unstable mental state. Overly Rebellious and very jittery about everything. Thinks the world is out to get her.
Grandma
Race: White
Age: Late 30s
Mrs. Reese’s mother. Extremely religious. Often appears in the film as a dead person, or ghost staring from a distance. Need someone who can stand really still.
