Theater classes for youth ages 11 to 19

The African Heritage Youth Theatre (AHYT!) is the premier theater apprenticeship program at the African Heritage Cultural Arts Center for youth, ages 11-19, who are serious about learning the craft of theater.
Students participated in two main-stage performances, attend cultural excursions and workshops, and participate in community service. Students can be invited to join AHYT! or attend auditions. The theater company strives to develop students acting repertoire and enhance theatrical skills that magnet schools and professional agencies desire.
Date January 21st and 28th at the African Heritage Cultural Arts Center.
Audition requirements: 1-minute monologue

Acting is what I loved since i was a baby. I am 14 years of age. At school my mark in drama is 80% and above. I am a very good actor. I’m a phenomenal actor. I would really love to work with African Heritage Cultural Arts Center.
