Open call auditions for Area Stage Company’s production of Fame The Musical and Rent. Area Stage is looking for talented and enthusiastic performers to form the cast of these two musicals.
Anyone interested in auditioning for either production must come prepared with a one minute monologue and 16 bars of music.
FAME THE MUSICAL
Auditions for Fame The Musical will take place at Area Stage Company’s theatre on March 5th at 5:00 p.m. Callbacks will be held March 6th at 7:00 p.m. Accompanist on side. The show will take place from May 5th- May 16th on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Live Orchestra.
Fame The Musical inspired generations to fight for fame and light up the sky like a flame! The show follows the final class of New York City’s celebrated High School for the Performing Arts from their admission in 1980 to their graduation in 1984. The show provides great opportunities to feature a diverse talent pool and showcase artistic mediums like dancing, singing, acting, rapping and musicianship.
