Female Urban Soul Artist w/ local & International Performance Cred seeking background singers to join team

Sydaiya Rehema is an up and coming Singer/Songwriter/Performer out of NYC and she is looking for TWO lovely ladies to join her team and perform with her on stage.  In 2016 Sydaiya performed through out the Tri-state area, New England, DMV and the UK, including notable venues and events such as the House of Blues in Boston, and at the Regional Youth Music Awards in Bristol, UK. For 2017 Sydaiya is already booked for The Labor Day Funk Festival in Boston, A Youth Outreach tour through the southern states, and the BxC Musical Festival at SOB’s in NYC in February.

The ideal candidate will have:
– a passion for music
– strong singing skills
– competent choreography skills
– a strong work ethic,
– ability to travel (within US and internationally)
– ability to commit to this team FOR AT LEAST A YEAR?
– self motivation
– be responsible and reliable
– a team player MENTALITY and have A positive attitude.

Requirements:
– Lives in NYC
– Ability to attend NYC shows during the week and travel out of state during the weekends as bookings come in.
– Available for rehearsals in Brooklyn or Manhattan
– Owns a valid passport
– Height 5’4 – 5-9′
– Have a strong ear/be able to harmonize
– Be able to sing while doing light choreography (nothing disruptive)

Auditions are being held Wednesday January 25th, 2017 7-9pm.
