The “Fourth Down” TV Series is now in pre-production in the Los Angeles area and there is a casting call for lead and supporting roles. Waymaker Women Entertainment is producing the series.
Peering into the lives of the women involved with professional football players, the show follows Korryn, an aspiring actress who relocates to LA at the expense of leaving her longtime boyfriend, Jay, who is a big-time football player living in Houston, Texas. The on again, off again couple have been riding it out since high school, as Korryn is constantly dealing with Jay’s time consuming football career and outright infidelity. Korryn relies on Ashley, her ride or die partner in crime who has fought some of Jay’s jump-offs in the past; Rene, a football wife who is holding her husband and family down; and Jamie, an established actor living in Hollywood who is supporting Korryn. With the absence of his girlfriend, Jay finds himself confiding in his best friend and teammate, Mike, who is married to Korryn’s friend, Rene; and Mya; his jump-off since college who devotes herself entirely to Jay’s football career despite being aware of his relationship with Korryn. Finding herself giving up on her relationship with Jay, Korryn is hoping that her relocation will allow the couple enough time and space to get their last play right before it is officially over.

-Korryn: An aspiring actress involved in a long-distance relationship with Jay.

-Stacy: An “All about the money” talent manager who runs Korryn’s acting career.

Filming will begin mid July and will last approximately one week. All roles are paid.
