ANKH Rep & The Finest! In partnership with The City of Gaithersburg, Maryland will hold auditions for DREAMGIRLS March 29th and 30th 7:30-9:30 pm at College Gardens Elementary School.
ALL ROLES OPEN
Seeking A multi-ethnic cast of men and women ages 18-65
Performance dates: June 9 -25 WEEKENDS ONLY
Media / invited guests preview June 8. ALL REHEARSALS IN ROCKVILLE/
GAITHERSBURG , MD AREAS.
Directed and Choreographed by Kashi- Tara & Kelly Chauncey
Musical Direction by Joshua Summerville
Breakdown:
The Rones of Effie, Deena, Lowell, James Thunder Early, CCA and Curtis will be double cast. EACH ACTOR WILL PERFORM A MINIMUM OF 4 SHOWS IN THOSE ROLES and be incorporated into the ensemble when they do not go on in those roles
Please be familiar with THE Musical and NOT the Movie!
This is Not an open call. You must submit photo/ resume prior to audition date. You will then be assigned an audition time slot.
Please prepare a song FROM Dreamgirls. Accompaniment will NOT be provided. You may however bring your track of choice or use one of the instrumental tracks we will have on hand.
COLD READINGS FROM THE SCRIPT AND BY ALL MEANS COME DRESSED FOR CHOREOGRAPHY
