Extras casting in Chicago
FOX police drama A.P.B. is getting ready to go on winter break, but… they are still filming new episodes and are casting a few roles shortly.
Casting directors in the Chicago area are now casting background actors for the show’s final episode before 2017. The new FOX drama is filming season 1 of the show but will be going on hiatus mid December.
A.P.B. is set to air mid-season and will premiere on February 6, 2017. The show is described as a high tech police drama which centers on a technology billionaire who takes over a police department. According to the show’s wiki page, the story is loosely based on the New York Times Magazine article “Who Runs the Streets of New Orleans?” A.P.B. is a police drama with a twist. The series is inspired by true events of how a police department became some what privatized. “A.P.B.” will star Emmy Award nominee Justin Kirk (“Tyrant,” “Weeds”) as billionaire Gideon Reeves. Reeves, frustrated after the murder of a close friend goes unsolved, decides to do something about it. He sees the police department as inefficient and talks the city into letting him take it over. Using his own money, he aims at making the P.D. a more effective unit.
Chicago’s 4 Star Casting, the shows’s casting team, is also interested in locals for other shows. Please see below for the details.
