Get cast on Nashville
A new season of the country music drama “Nashville” is coming.
The show is now casting extras, featured extras, photo doubles and stand-ins Nashville area.
Fans of the country music drama will get to see another season of “Nashville.” ABC cancelled the show this last spring, after season 4, but now, CMT has picked it up. “Nashville” will be making the move to CMT for season 5 and the show is now in production in Tennessee.
If you live in Nashville and would like to make a few extras bucks by working as paid background actors… read on. Casting directors for the show recently released a casting notice for lots of different types that are needed in the coming weeks. The show films in Nashville Tennessee and will only be considering talent that is local to the area.

“Nashville” is set in the Tennessee music scene and focuses on 2 female country music singers, Rayna Jaymes and Juliette Barnes. The show follows the country music stars as they navigate both their personal and professional lives. “Nashville” stars Connie Britton and Hayden Panettiere. According to Variety, there may be questions about Britton’s status on the CMT series. While Panettiere is in for the full season which is 22 episodes long, Britton is not. Entertainment Weekly reported that Britton is currently only signed up to do 11 episode which is 1/2 the season. The fifth season of Nashville is set to premiere Thursday, Jan. 5 at 9 p.m. on CMT.

**PLEASE DO NOT SUBMIT to this booking if you are not 100% fully available and committed! There will be a lot of people who want to work since it is the last booking of the season so please don’t take a space away from someone who really wants to work & will show up!**
We do not have Call Times yet and you would need to be fully 100% available on the work date (regardless of what the wrap time ends up being!). MUST be available ALL DAY!! You MUST have open/flexible availability if submitting so that you can work WHATEVER the call times & wrap times end up being. If not, please DO NOT SUBMIT!
Pay rate for EXTRAS is $64.00 for 8 hours ($8.00/hour with an 8 hour guarantee). You will be paid overtime for anything over 8 hours at time & 1/2. You will receive a check in the mail usually 14-16 business days AFTER you work. (*WE do not handle payroll so checks are issued from the Production payroll company)
Location is in the NASHVILLE, TN area.
EXTRAS: (*WE will choose the role that we feel you are best suited for! It is ok to request a specific role, however if you submit you MUST be willing to accept whatever role we choose for you! – This scene takes place at a fictional American Music Awards ceremony (like the Grammys) set in Los Angeles (but filmed in Nashville!)

EVENT WAIT STAFF: male and female, all ethnicities, age range 21-35, upscale, professional, attractive, should have previous wait staff/cocktail experience so you are able to carry trays of drinks (*please specify experience when submitting)
EVENT SECURITY: male and female, all ethnicities, age range 21-40, larger stature, professional, private security types, should have your own business attire (preferably black suit)
EVENT PAs: male and female, all ethnicities, age range 20-35, professional, production types
STAGE TECHS/ROAD CREW: male and female, all ethnicities, age range 21-50, variety of types who might work backstage at a music show moving equipment
EVENT PUBLICISTS: male and female, all ethnicities, age range 25-45, attractive, professional, sleek, confident, classy
MUSICIAN/ARTIST EVENT ATTENDEES:: male and female, all ethnicities, age range 20-45, attractive, hip, stylish, professional musician types (all musical genres). MUST have upscale event attire – For the women this could be gowns or cocktail dresses, or even a fancy pant suit. For the men it could be a suit, or nice jeans and a tuxedo jacket or nice pants with a leather jacket or blazer. This isn’t as formal as the Academy Awards- the clothes and outfits can be funkier
AWARD PRESENTERS: female, all ethnicities, age range 20-28, thin, beautiful, poised, glamorous, MUST have options of formal or semi-formal, cocktail attire
AMA GUESTS: male and female, all ethnicities, age range 18-60, attractive, confident, classy, stylish, hip, should be LA celebrity and industry types. MUST have upscale event attire – For the women this could be gowns or cocktail dresses, or even a fancy pant suit. For the men it could be a suit, or nice jeans and a tuxedo jacket or nice pants with a leather jacket or blazer.
