Extras casting for NBC “Chicago Fire,” “Chicago Med” and “Chicago Justice.”

NBC’s series of “Chicago” oriented shows are filming new seasons in the Chicagoland area. The NBC Chicago franchise of shows films all 4 shows throughout the year.  Last season saw a new addition to the brand with the law themed drama, “Chicago Justice.” NBC also created the “Chicago Med” spin-off which is now going into season number 3. The shows are spin-offs of NBC’s successful “Chicago Fire” series which also spawned “Chicago P.D.” some years back.

Chicago Fire” is produced by Emmy Award-winning executive producer Dick Wolf, the same man that is behind the very popular “Law and Order” franchise. “Chicago Fire” and the other 3 Chicago shows film at the same time in the Chicago area.  The show follows the lives of the men and women who work at the fictional firehouse 51.  The high octane drama gives viewers a glimpse into the lives of firefighters, paramedics and rescue workers who put their lives on the line on a daily basis. The other 3 “Chicago” shows all tie into each other and frequently include crossover episodes where characters of one show work together with those of another.
