Ralph Smyth Entertainment is casting extras for a pitch piece for a potential series.
New Form Digital (backed by Ron Howard, Brian Grazer, Discovery Communications, etc.) is developing a new series concept and has brought in local production company Ralph Smyth Entertainment (Balls Out, Crunch Time, DEALT) to produce a concept piece with hopeful subsequent full season funding.
“THE MALL RUNNER”
A man wakes up without memories only to find out he’s trapped in a mall with teenagers who have also lost their memories and are forced to participate in a daily “fire sale” competition to survive. A dark comedy parody of Hunger Games and Mazerunner.
