“Longmire” Season 5 cast call in NM
The Show will be returning to Netflix for at least one more season. The fan favorite “Longmire” is now in production of season 5 in New Mexico. Extras casting director, Robert Baxter, has released a casting call for locals with a cowboy look to appear in the last Red Pony scene in the show. The scene will be filming next week in the Santa Fe, New Mexico area. See below for all the details.
“Longmire” originally aired on A&E. After 3 seasons, A&E announced that it would be cancelling the show causing an outpouring of fan support and a pickup by Netflix. Netflix brought the show to the streaming service for season 4 which premiered last fall. A few months back, Netflix made the announcement that there will be a “Longmire” Season 5 in 2016, however, season 5 may be “Longmire’s” final. Netflix also announced that season 5 will have longer episodes. Previously the show’s episodes ran about 40 minutes, with commercial it brings the program length to an hour. The new season will run a full hour.
While Netflix has not confirmed an actual release date for season 5, rumor has it that fans can expect their full fill of “Longmire” this coming September of 2016. Netflix likes to release their shows all at once giving fans the ability to binge watch the full season. In a twitter post, one of the show’s writers commented about his excitement for the upcoming season. Tony Tost tweeted back in December “Re-watching Longmire Season 4. All psyched up and waiting to head back into the writer’s room to start working on the script for Season 5 tomorrow!”
“Longmire” is based on the Walt Longmire mystery novels by best-selling author Craig Johnson, this contemporary crime drama stars Australian actor Robert Taylor in the title role of Walt Longmire, a dedicated and unflappable sheriff of Absaroka County, Wyoming. Widowed only a year, he is a man in psychic repair but buries his pain behind his brave face, unassuming grin and dry wit. The show stars Robert Taylor as Sheriff Walt Longmire, Lou Diamond Phillips as his best friend, Henry Standing Bear, Cassidy Freeman as Cady Longmire, Adam Bartley as The Ferg and Katee Sackhoff as deputy Victoria ‘Vic’ Moretti.

We are looking for 2 men to play Dead. 1 – Allen age 40s Caucasian fit, rough, warn, out doors type. Works on set Mar 31st and April 6th. #2 Dub Caucasian age 60s rough healthy out doors type. Works on set Wed April 5th. Also looking for 25 Treasure hunters / Campers 20 to 60 years old that are healthy enough to hike around at 8000 ft.
