Casting for LATINO SHORT FILM titled Los Americanos!
Los Americanos is a farce about Gulliver, a budding playwright, who struggles to convince his immigrant parents not to audition for a play he has written based on their own lives.
The project originated as a play written by Playwright Guillermo Reyes. It is a farcical comedy included in his collection of plays titled The Hispanick Zone.

CHARACTER BREAKDOWN:
Gulliver: Rigoberta and Manuel’s son, a second generation Salvadoran American, very studious, a young playwright. Smart, practical, a realist.
Rigoberta: Gulliver’s mother and wife to Manuel. A feisty Salvadoran woman with a big heart. She has a lot of pride, she is direct, blunt, embarrassed by her young past as an actress in El Salvador with her husband.
Manuel: Gulliver’s father and Rigoberta’s husband. A strong and weathered looking Salvadoran man. Very prideful, a dreamer, and at one time an passionate actor. Loves to travel and currently works at a bodega.
