NBC’s This Is Us is is filming new episodes and now casting lots of small roles in Memphis.
“This Is Us” is looking to cast Memphis locals who would love to work as paid background actors on the show.
The critically acclaimed series is created by Dan Fogelman and the show premiered on September 20th, 2016. Since the premiere, the show has had rave reviews and earned multiple award nominations which include nominations for Best Television Series at the Golden Globes, best Drama Series at Critics Choice Awards, and the American Film Institute chose “This is Us” as their top TV program.
Seven days after the show premiered, NBC announced that the show was being picked up for an 18 episode second season and this month, NBC had renewed the show for season 3. The season 3 pickup announcement came before season 2 even hit the air waves.
“This Is Us” is a comedy / drama about the family lives of people who all seem to share the same birthday. The show’s ensemble cast stars Milo Ventimiglia, Mandy Moore, Sterling K. Brown, Chrissy Metz, Justin Hartley, Susan Kelechi Watson, Chris Sullivan, and Ron Cephas Jones. The show’s cast has also received their fair share of critical acclaim. Mandy Moore and Chrissy Metz both got Golden Globe nominations for their supporting roles on the show.
“This is Us” has a rush call out in the Memphis, TN area for extras who are available to work on set tomorrow.

Pay rate for EXTRAS is $64.00 for 8 hours ($8.00/hr with an 8 hour guarantee). You will be paid overtime for anything over 8 hours at time & 1/2.You will receive a check in the mail usually 14-16 business days AFTER you work. (*WE do not handle payroll so checks are issued from the Production payroll company)
Location is in the MEMPHIS, TN area. *We will not be reimbursing travel to MEMPHIS nor providing accommodation in the area – Local Memphis Hire ONLY
