Seeking Dante – Silent opera for the 2017 chashama GALA

My work “Seeking Dante” has been selected to participate in the 2017 chashama GALA that will take place on Thursday, June 8, 2017 c/o the Condé Nast Building at 4 Times sq. 🙂
I’m looking for two actors and four/six dancers for this performance.
I will be staging a theatrical version of an existing musical tale originally performed by actor + orchestra, using the format of “silent opera”. It premiered in Florence in 2014 and was performed in various locations. Now it’s a good opportunity to revise it, and take it to another level.
The challenges:
1. unfortunately I am not in the position to offer compensation, so this will be an unpaid gig for someone looking to embark in a new project with high visibility
2. I’m based in Europe, so until the week before the gala we will have to collaborate from remote (zoom or skype).
I have successfully done this in the past for other projects (e.g. I managed the independent publication of a book and its crowdfunding campaign from remote, delivered several big corporate branding projects, etc.), and I’m confident it can be done – but it will be a bit different from the usual rehearsing.
