Iron Man 3 Now Casting

Extras Needed for Iron Man

The third installment of Iron Man, Iron Man 3 is now casting extras of all ages and all ethnicities! If you love the Iron Man movies and would like to be a part of the production, this is your chance! 2 open castings are scheduled in the next week, one in Raleigh and another in Wilmington on the 21st.

Open casting calls are scheduled for this weekend and next in Raleigh and Wilmington, North Carolina. The movie will be shooting this summer in various parts of North Carolina and is looking for local talent to appear in the film. Iron Man 3 features an all star cast with Robert Downey Jr. returning as Iron Man. The film also stars Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, and Scarlett Johanssen.

The production is using the working title of “Caged Heat”

Seeking the following extras:

ALL TYPES, ALL AGES & ALL ETHNIC DESCENTS ARE NEEDED. (However most needed are those 18 years of age and older.)

In addition to ALL, there is a special need for the following;
Identical Twins ages 12 -14 (male or female), Artsy and/or Eccentric types, Computer Geek types, Professor types, Business Professionals (Men & Women), Upscale Preppy types, those with Unusual Hair, Piercing or Facial hair.
There is also a special need for those of Chinese and Asian descents, as well Middle Eastern, Indian, Persian, Latino, Hispanic, Vietnamese, Hawaiian,Jamaican, Lebanese descents. A very multi culturalmix of extras is needed.
ALL ETHNIC BACKGROUNDS NEEDED.

The casting call for the film will be held at the Crabtree Valley Mall this coming Saturday

If planning to attend the auditions, please be sure to bring a picture of yourself to the event. The picture does not need to be professional. Casting directors just want a snapshot that is current and looks like you. Also, you may need a pen to fill out paperwork. Applications will be available at the time of the casting call.

If you are unable to make either of the 2 open calls, you can submit yourself online. Please keep in mind that this movie will be shot in North Carolina and you will need to be in North Carolina in order to participate. All extras will be paid and most extras make $80 to $120 for a 10 to 12 hour day.
