Necessary Roughness is now casting a new season.
Open casting call for football players, coaches, trainers, referees, etc
Season 2 of Necessary Roughness begins shooting in Atlanta in early March and will continue filming into the summer.

PARKING: If you enter off of Windy Hill, there is a parking structure behind the building. Parking is free. You can park in there and take the elevator to the 2nd Floor. Take the walkway and follow the signs to the front of the building.
WHAT TO WEAR: If you are interested in being a football player, wear workout gear and tennis shoes. If you are interested in being a coach or trainer type, dress the part (Polo shirt, pullover, khakis, black pants, etc)
WHAT TO BRING: If you have a headshot/resume, bring it. If not, no worries at all. We’re going to take a new picture of everybody.
This will be an interview type casting call. We are currently looking for Extras (football players, coaches, trainers) to be in the television series, Necessary Roughness. We are not auditioning principal parts at this time. We are looking for our core group of players/coaches to be in practice scenes, training room /weight room scenes, party scenes, etc. If you worked with us on the pilot or last season, great! We look forward to seeing you again at the casting call. We have different needs for the series, so we want to see everybody. We also want to give you an idea of what to expect if you are selected for one of these positions. We’ll take some pictures, get updated sizes/info/availability, and try to get you in and out as quickly as possible.
If you are a football player and we like what we see, you may be asked to attend an on-field tryout on THURSDAY, March 1st. You will be given the info after your interview.

Not sure who just emailed you, but that show films in Atlanta and was casting around that area. The open call was held in February in Georgia. The casting company is sports studio, you can register with them to be notified of future open calls for Necessary Roughness, they will be shooting through the summer, or so they say.
