CASTING NEEDS – 3 actors – men, women, and teens age 16 and above. Diverse ages and ethnicities encouraged.

ABOUT THE PLAY – Comedy by Adam Long, Daniel Singer, and Jess Winfield. An irreverent, fast-paced romp through the Bard’s plays that ran for 10 years in London’s West End! Join this madcap trio of ambitious prop-laden actors as they weave their wicked way through all 37 of Shakespeare’s comedies, histories and tragedies in one wild ride that will leave you breathless and helpless with laughter. Quick, witty, and physical.

ABOUT THE DIRECTOR – Jack Tamburri is a director, writer, performer, and musician who recently received his MFA in Directing from the Yale School of Drama.

He is a graduate of the University of Chicago (AB ’05 English Language and Literature) and a member of the Chicago-based new works theater company, the Plagiarists. With the Plagiarists, Jack wrote, produced, and performed in the annual American Stage Sessions series as well as the Internet radio comedy series The Brandy Winefingers Mysteries, and directed The Wreck of the Medusa, a new play based on the infamous shipwreck and the painting it inspired. In Chicago Jack also worked with the Neo-Futurists, the Hypocrites, the House Theatre of Chicago, American Theater Co, Mary-Arrchie Theatre Co, and the Court Theatre, among others. Directing highlights include Chuck Mee’s bobrauschenbergamerica, Mac Wellman’s Seven Blowjobs, and Powerless: Issues 1-3 (a new piece of comic book theater featuring projection design by a national roster of illustrators).

At Yale, Jack directed productions of Shakespeare’s The Tempest and Titus Andronicus as well as Young Jean Lee’s Church (co-director/co-producer), Mac Wellman’s Dracula, and new plays by MFA-candidate playwrights Justin Taylor, MJ Kaufman, and Amelia Roper. His thesis production was Iphigenia Among the Stars, a science-fiction adaptation of Euripides’s Iphigenia Among the Taurians and Iphigenia At Aulis. Jack’s most recent productions include House Beast by Justin Taylor, part of the Carlotta Festival of New Plays, and a production for the Philadelphia FringeArts Festival with MJ Kaufman.
