Well, what do you say? It’s a reality show looking for people who are able to use their minds and are not complete idiots (but that just makes things fun when ya do have em). I’ve always wanted to do some sort of a reality show and something that adds a challenge to build, grow and develop things is kinda up my alley….. I have always loved a mental/physical challenge combo. This Utopia concept is pretty much in ways like building a business collectively with multiple board members…. could be interesting…. would love to be a part of it, if I can’t be a part (which is the most likely aspect) I look forward to seeing how it all plays out, and to those who do get selected; Best of luck.
I was raised in the Appalachian foothills of Kentucky. Growing up on 100+ acres of land, horses, motorcycles… I believe I have what it takes to make it anywhere. I dropped out of college and moved to Atlanta where my salesmanship was crafted. Over the years, I have owned over 10 companies… some good ones… others not so good. My last company there was a huge commercial cleaning company that I bought with a friend. We had over 150 employees and it was a LOT of work. After a year or so, we sold the company and I moved to Tennessee where I opened some Nextel/Sprint retail locations.
Eight years later, my ex wife helped me rid myself of that company, I guess that’s the best way to say it, and I started my career as a janitor. I started a commercial cleaning company, because that’s what I knew, where I worked no less than 16 hours a day for 2 years just to keep up with child support and eat off the dollar menu at McDonald’s. After 6 years of working tirelessly, I was blindsided by some rouge employees and lost some huge accounts.
Whilst mourning the loss of those buildings, I decided to start a roofing company due to the amount of storms going through Tennessee. I first got a job with a large roofing company to learn how to deal with insurance adjusters, then I was off and running. A few roofs later, an old girlfriend I knew back at Morehead State hit me up on Facebook… remember me?
Now I am married again with a 13 year old girl, 12 year old boy, a 10 year old girl and boy, and now a 1 year old little girl that was only 1lb 10oz when she was born. She is healthy as a hog now. I have opened an indoor advertising company (restroom advertising) which is somewhat in its infancy, but growing every day. You can check out my Facebook profile… username Clarkebook.
