US Premiere: Hunchback of Notre Dame, CHOIR AUDITIONS

SACRA/PROFANA will be holding one final round of “workshop-style” auditions for Auxiliary Chorus tenors and basses to perform in the onstage choir for the US premiere of The Hunchback of Notre Dame, a new musical featuring an Oscar-nominated score by Alan Menken and Stephen Schwartz. The Hunchback of Notre Dame will be produced at La Jolla Playhouse in October-December 2014, by special arrangement with Disney Theatrical Productions.

The SACRA/PROFANA Auxiliary Chorus is a committed group of proficient volunteer singers working in a professional environment alongside SACRA/PROFANA’s core of 20 contracted singers.
Auditioning chorister expectations are:
To be 18 years of age or older
Choral singing experience
Music reading ability
The availability to attend periodic rehearsals and performances from late August through December, 2014
Energetic stage presence
