The new “Divergent” movie is filming in Atlanta and casting several kids ages 8 to 15 to work as paid extras.
Atlanta based casting directors are seeking to cast kids / teens between the ages of 8 and 15 to work as paid extras in scenes filming next month. CL Casting is specifically looking for thin, kids with long, natural, untamed hair.
Divergent is a sci-fi flick based on the young adult, Veronica Roth novels of the same name. The “Divergent” movies are a trilogy and the second installment, “Insurgent“, will be coming out this coming spring. The last chapter of the series called “Allegiant” is in production now. The film is being split into 2 parts, “Allegiant part 1” will be released in theaters in 2016 and part 2 will follow in 2017. The film stars Shailene Woodley as Beatrice or “Tris”, a teen girl who has found herself at odds with the authoritarian government in the post apocalyptic world which she lives in. Theo James and Kate Winslet also star in the film.
