MTV’s “Scream” TV Series Now Casting in Baton Rouge / NOLA

Extras Casting call for new MTV “Scream” TV show, “Hush“.

MTV is bringing the horror classic “Scream”  to the small screen. The new show currently called “Hush”  is in production in Louisiana and looking to hire paid extras and featured to work in the Baton Rouge area. The show is seeking adult extras to work a funeral scene that will be filming this Wednesday.  The show is looking for extras ages 20s to 60s who have an upscale look. Background extras cast will have to provide their own upscale, dark colored wardrobe for the scene. Talent wishing to work as a paid extra on the show may follow the below directions to submit for this scene or they can stop by the Central Casting offices in NOLA to register and have their photo taken.

According to the show’s IMDB page the show will focus on a viral video that somehow leads to murder…. “What starts as a YouTube video going viral, soon leads to problems for the teenagers of Lakewood and serves as the catalyst for a murder that opens up a window to the town’s troubled past.” MTV announced plans for the new Scream series around last Halloween over twitter.

The Scream series will star Willa Fitzgerald (“Alpha House,” “Royal Pains”), Amy Forsyth (“Torment,” “Reign”), John Karna,  Carlson Young (“Key and Peele,” “The Kroll Show”) and Amadeus Serafini. The series pilot is directed by Jamie Travis (MTV’s “Faking It”). Wes Craven, the film series creator, is one of the executive producers on the show.

The show will premiere on MTV later this year and will consist of 10 episodes for season 1.

HUSH working Wednesday 6/17 in Baton Rouge

Looking for 20’s-60’s Upscale / Wealthy looking Men & Women, all ethnicities, to work on Wednesday 6/17 in Baton Rouge as Funeral Attendees. You must have upscale darker toned funeral appropriate attire. $88/10

We will also need to book a handful of the background with their cars. If you would like your car to be considered, be sure to include the Color / Year / Make / Model of your car in your submission. Additional $35 car bump if booked with your car.
