Chicago PD is filming the new season of the show and a new casting call for featured extras has just been released.
The show is filming episodes for the new season and is seeking to fill a few featured roles. The show’s casting directors (Tailsticks) are seeking 2 male actors to play news reporters at a crime scene as well as a small group of extras to play hostages.
The casting directors are also seeking lots of extras for other roles in the upcoming episode. The show’s casting directors have setup an availability form for those interested in working on the show.
The show is a spin-off of NBC’s ‘Chicago Fire’ series. It follows District 21 of the Chicago PD and 2 units in that police department. The 2 units the show focuses on are a group of Chicago beat cops as well as the major crimes unit. The show is directed by Joe Chappelle, is created by Dick Wolf and Matt Olmstead and stars Jason Beghe, Kelly Blatz, Sophia Bush and many many more fine actors. Dick Wolf was also the creator of Law and Order and it’s 2 spin offs, Law and Order: Criminal Intent and Special Victims.
FEATURED ROLES
1.) “ANCHORMAN” – Looking for two featured men to play news reporters at a crime scene. Must have solid acting abilities. Age ranges 30s-50s. Looking for Brian Williams/Matt Lauer. This is a 2 DAY BOOKING. Will film 4/14 and 4/15, and will also require a WARDROBE FITTING on Monday 4/13.
2.) “CAPTIVE” – Looking for a small group of HIGH END shoppers and employees to play hostages. Must have high end trendy wardrobe. Age Range 30s- early 50s. This is a 2 DAY BOOKING. Will film 4/14 and 4/15, and will also require a WARDROBE FITTING on Monday 4/13.
