“Vampire Diaries” is filming the 2015 / 2016 season in Atlanta and has released a new casting call for featured extras.
The show is now filming the season 7 premiere and has a couple featured roles available. The shows extras casting directors are seeking a male actor between the ages of 28 and 50 to play a homeless man as well as a women, ages 38 to 50. The roles are open to all ethnicities. Those applying for the roles should be prepared to get a bit bloody (fake blood… hopefully) for the scene. The episode will film sometime between the 10th and 28th of this month. “Vampire Diaries” has another casting call out for general extras. Those that would like to apply to be extras on “Vampire Diaries” must live in the Atlanta area in order to be considered for the roles.
“The Vampire Diaries” is set in the fictional town of Mystic Falls, where the night may belong to the supernatural. The series focuses on vampire lore and is based on the book series also called “Vampire Diaries” by L. J. Smith ”Vampire Diaries” was developed by Kevin Williamson and Julie Plec for the CW Network. The show airs on the CW Network and season 7 will premiere this fall. CW also has a spin-off series called “The Originals“.

HOMELESS MAN — Any Ethnicity, age 28 – 50 — looking for character type, rough appearance, if you are ok with getting bloodied, please note in your submission
Featured extra rate is $125/8; overtime after 8hrs, and any appropriate bumps will be added.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Please be mindful of the photos you submit. These photos are sometimes sent to the Directors and Producers to make choices. A lot of times we can’t submit people because their photo isn’t appropriate for the role submitted for, we can’t clearly see the person in the picture, picture is of poor quality, etc. A current candid photo taken on a camera phone in good lighting is sufficient majority of the time.
