New Show “Containment” Casting Call for Extras & Featured Roles – Babies, Kids and Adults

CW’s newest series “Containment” is now filming in the Atlanta area and has casting calls out for tons of open roles in scenes filming this week and next.

The new show is in production and still casting  locals to fill various small roles in upcoming shoots. The casting notice below was just updated with additional roles that were just added. Please see the roles and dates needed below.

“Containment”  focuses on what may happen if a virus was to suddenly break out in a heavily populated area. The show is set in the Atlanta area, where it films, and is based on another show called “Cordon” that airs on one of the BBC Networks.  In the show, authorities are forced to quarantine large areas of a city in an effort to prevent the spread of a mysterious, and uncontrollable disease. The quarantine cuts off families from their loved ones and gives rise to actions both tragic and heroic from those trapped within the quarantine area.

“Containment”  is part of CW’s 2015 / 2016 fall line up and should premiere in a few months. “Containment”  is written by Julie Plec (“Vampire Diaries”, “The Originals”) and directed by David Nutter. According to the show’s Wiki page, Starring in “Containment” are David Gyasi, Christina Moses, Chris Wood, Kristen Gutoskie, Claudia Black, George Young,  Hanna Mangan Lawrence and Trevor St. John.

TOUGH GUY — (will work multiple days – FEATURED RATE) Males, African-American, ages 21+, looking for rough around the edges types, BALD or SHAVED HEAD. Include acting experience in submission. Must be available to meet with Director this Friday, November 13th at 12pm.

TWIN BABIES — Male or Female — 15 days – 2 months old; mixed ethnicity or can believably play newborns to an interracial couple (african american father and caucasian mother). Looking for twin babies to work our upcoming episode and possibly recur. Because there is a great possibility this role will reoccur, we are asking only those that have an open or flexible schedule to submit. Please include set experience if any. Rate is $250/8.
