In order to get a head start on casting AND incorporate real cosplayers into our feature film, we are holding a casting session/free cosplay photoshoot on Monday May 9, 11:45 AM – 2:15 PM.
What if the last thing left to save humanity from an undead apocalypse is a group of COSPLAYERS?! This is the world of ZombieCON. The indie filmmaking team behind MewNowTV.com is producing its first feature film, ‘ZOMBIECON’: a fun, thrilling, fresh adventure blending the anime and cosplay world with a not-your-average zombie apocalypse.
ZombieCON is currently campaigning on Indiegogo to complete production funding, with shooting slated to begin in MID-JUNE, and film releasing in late FALL 2016. Check out the campaign for a good idea of the film tone, theme, and what we are looking for
Pay rate if cast as zombie extra: $10/hr
CHARACTER DESCRIPTION:
ZOMBIES/COSPLAYERS TURNED ZOMBIES: Male/Female, Open Age/Ethnicity, REAL COSPLAYERS who have been bitten during a spontaneous zombie apocalypse occurring in Los Angeles, and who now are full fledged zombies on the hunt for what else, fresh blood!
Wardrobe note: for casting and shoot, please wear cosplay costume of your choice.
