TV cooking show auditions for kids
MasterChef Junior Auditions for kids who can cook. The Gordon Ramsay junior cooking competition is coming back in 2016 and is now holding auditions to find some young, talented cooks.
MASTERCHEF JUNIOR is on a nationwide search for up and coming culinary talent… not yet in high school. The show’s casting directors are going coast to coast to find kids between the ages of 8 – 13 to compete on the show and be crowned MasterChef Jr. Kids applying must be between the ages of 8 and 13.
Award-winning Chef and host, Gordon Ramsay will be joined by restaurateur Joe Bastianich as well as acclaimed chef Graham Elliot Graham Elliot and Christina Tosi in the new season that premieres in just a few weeks on November 6th. However, the show is now planning ahead and seeking kids and teens for the 2016 season of the show. Can your teen cook and handle the heat in Ramsay’s kitchen? Masterchef Jr. is looking to showcase your child’s culinary skills. The ‘MasterChef Jr.’ nationwide search will kick off next month. The show’s casting team is headed to Jacksonville, followed by Los Angeles, & New York.
There are 2 ways to apply for the show. Parents and kids can attend one of the planned open casting calls (See below for the audition schedule) or if you can’t make it to the open call, parents can send in a video audition to the MasterChef Junior casting directors.

If you are planning to attend an OPEN CALL, please do the following:
- Please have a parent or legal guardian Pre-register your profile and pick your open call location in advance. PRE-REGISTER HERE
- Download the application form HERE, have your parent or legal guardian fill it out and bring a copy with you to an open call. All legal guardians must sign the application form.
- Bring an apron. We will provide you with the food and the equipment at the open call.
- A parent or legal guardian must be present at the open call with you.
