DART FROG – a feature film shot in HD on location in/around iconic Coney Island, Brooklyn, Spring of 2018. DART FROG is a dark, action-adventure with comic overtones concerning the life of an 11 year old superhero-wannabe.

DART FROG is seeking resume/portfolio submissions for both ACTORS and TECHNICAL TALENT. Non Union but modest compensation. Auditions now in either Brooklyn or Manhattan. The core parts are as follows:

Joey – a wheelchair-bound male – age 11

Dart Frog’s “actual girlfriend” – age 11 – 14
Old Doormaus – male, age (any), unusually tall actor preferred
The Ripper – male, age (any)
Roman – Physically powerful Eastern European wrestler type – age 45 – 70
Wise Rabbi – male – age (any)
Tatooed Teen Punk Pizza Girl – female, age 15 – 30
Ventriloquist – age (any)
Dart Frog’s Mom – age 35
Joey’s Grandfather – age 60 – 90
Elderly Sister #1 – 60 – 90
Elderly Sister #2 – 60 – 90
Big Teen Bully – male – age 12 – 18
Purse Snatcher – male – age 25 – 45
General Schmutzhund -male – age 50 – 70

This film has an additional need for extras, especially classically non-handsome people. This posting strongly encourages non actors, amateurs and acting students, and we strongly support the hiring of physically challenged persons, people of color, GLBTQ persons, and senior citizens.
