Casting in Atlanta for Mutants – Background Actors for Marvel’s “The Gifted”

Marvel’s TV show “The Gifted” is filming in the ATL.

The Gifted is in production and casting calls have been getting released to fill various extras roles. New castings are out for The Gifted.

The series is billed as a family adventure about an ordinary family whose lives are forever changed when they realize that their kids have acquired mutant powers and may now be in danger. As in the X-Men movies, the government is not totally cool with mutants and sees them as a threat. With shady government forces on their tails, the family decides that they need to flee to keep their kids safe. Along the way, they run into other mutants and become involved with an underground network that supports them and helps fight the forces that bee, who are looking to destroy them. The show comes from some of the people that are involved in the original “X-Men” shows, Bryan Singer, Lauren Shuler Donner and Simon Kinberg, who serve as executive producers for “The Gifted.”

The show premiered last year. The 1st episode of the 1st season aired in October or 2017. Season 2 is now on. The series airs on FOX and films in the Dallas and Atlanta areas.

Please note that the TV show films in the Atlanta area and casting directors (Central) are only considering casting people for background actor roles who live in the Atlanta, Georgia area.
