Casting for Horror Short WINTER’S BLOOD
Location: Columbus, OH

I’m an experienced writer/director, seeking actors for a new short horror film. The production will take place sometime between mid-February and mid-March. We’re filming for approximately two days (probably a weekend shoot). The entire film takes place at night, so if you can’t handle night shoots, this may not be the project for you.

If you’re going to apply, please include a link to your reel. An audition may be necessary, especially if you lack a reel or enough content in your reel. We’ll discuss auditioning (plus the option of a video audition), if you’re a good fit for this project.
AVAILABLE ROLES
1- JESSICA (Female, protagonist)
-Acceptable age range: 18-35
-Pursued by an an unknown killer (played by “The Woman”)
*Simple stunts required*
2- THE WOMAN (Female, antagonist)
-Acceptable age range: 25-45
-Member of a mysterious cult
*Simple stunts required*
3- SARA (Female, supporting actor)
-Acceptable age range: 28-40
Some (or all) characters will be required to work in the snow. If you’re a good fit for this project, we’ll discuss any “simple stunts” in detail.
I typically pay actors $100/day. If you’re a member of SAG-AFTRA, I will pay their minimum.
Meals and gas reimbursements are available during production.
If you’re a great fit but live far away from our Central Ohio location, I will provide lodging. However, I can NOT afford to fly you in — this is an extremely low budget project.
