Hi I’m 23 years old looking to audition for the new game show the misery index. I live in Southern California and would love to try out for this.
My husband who has United Healthcare PPO was denied surgery to remove a tumor from his upper jaw. They denied my husband a CT scan, denied him a sleep study for sleep apnea and denied test for his heart and he almost died. By the time he got the stent put in he was 90% blocked and they made him wait weeks with pain. This company is all about the $$$$. I have had to fight with them to over turn every denial to get them to take care of my husband all year. My husband lost Half of his upper Jaw, pallet and part of his sinus cavity. They refuse to pay for the prosthetic that goes in his mouth. He NEEDS this to eat, talk and drink. They play games saying the claim must be lost in the mail….Claim went to the wrong department…my husband is the wrong age…pretty soon they may say he has the wrong hair color? They are greedy and modern day crooks. They stoop to all time lows not to pay. I have literally had to beg. My husband pays the UHC ppo through his job and its Very expensive. If you have not had a problem yet, then you are lucky, or have not been that sick. They pre approved the claim in writing for his last Obterator that he NEEDS to talk, drink and eat and they denied it for stupid reasons. They try to wear you down while the CEO makes 83 Million a year. My husband is a operations Manager at work, does not smoke, hardly ever drinks, works out 3 or 4 times a week. Is the perfect weight and still all of this happened to him in one year. Which was bad enough without having to beg for them to pay. They are the low of the low.
