Casting Call in Utah For Mark Wahlberg Movie “Good Joe Bell”

Movie extras casting call in Utah.

Good Joe Bell which stars Mark Wahlberg and Connie Britton is now filming in Salt Lake City, Utah – as well as surrounding areas such as Magna, Henefer, Croydon, Coalville, Grantsville, Salt Lake City, Wanship, Ogden, Skull Valley, Oakley, Francis, Cyprus, Park City, and Kamas.

There is a casting call out for folks in the Utah area who would like to work as paid movie extras.

The movie’s casting directors are looking for area locals that would like to work as paid extras on the movie.

According to the film’s IMDB page, “Good Joe Bell” follows Jadin Bell, a fifteen-year-old openly gay sophomore, who took his own life after being both bullied at high school and struggling for acceptance from the people closest to him.

G&G Casting is looking to fill a variety of background roles. The movie is set a few years back and seems to be described as a period piece… that period being 2012.

Some vehicles will be used for filming. Old, beat up, and dented vehicles are fine. Sedans and pick up trucks 2013′ or later. No reds, shades of reds, or white. Ok to submit if you do not have a sedan or pick up truck.

This will be filming in Wanship, UT. Prelim is 3PM. Please have the day completely open up to 12.5 hours. Can be a shorter day.

Non-Descriptive Background – $101.50 per day
Vehicles/Picture Cars – $25 per day Additional pay + your rate from above if your vehicle is selected.
Fuel Bump – $25 per day Additional pay + your rate from above (will be disclosed for certain days only)
Specialty Props/Smoking – $25 per day Additional pay + your rate from above
Costume Fitting – $35 (up to 3 hrs) Additional pay + your rate from above
