Squid Game Tryouts Online

Do you love the show Squid Game?

Get on Squid Games The Challenge.

If so, here is a shot on getting into the reality TV version of the mega popular Korean show.  That’s right…Squid Game is coming to reality TV for season 2 of “Squid Game: The Challenge.”  Yeah, the casting call is for season 2. Guess that means it has an enormous amount of popularity, that many have somehow missed. The show apparently was released last fall as season 1 and has now been renewed for a second season. The news is mixed as it looks like while it came out last year, American markets seem to be touting it for the first time. Guess we shall all wait and see.  Given the popularity of the drama series, have a feeling we shall see much more about the reality show in coming months.

Personally, I know about the drama series, yet, I like many seemed to have missed the debut of the real life challenge.  Unlike the drama series, the only thing on the line in this reality challenge is actually money and maybe some pride.

The show is being touted as one of the biggest reality shows ever which is hoping to cast over 400 contestants.  Yep, forget the reality shows that have a cast of a dozen competitors, Netflix is going large by expanding that cast to multiples of hundreds and is willing to give the last contestant standing close to 5 million for the win.

Unlike most of the US reality competitions which tend to stick to US residents, this show will be going all out, globally.  Auditions for Squid Games: The Challenge are being held as video auditions and location is not an issue.  Casting for the new competition reality show is open globally.  Now, there are some restrictions.  The show is meant for the English speaking market and therefore, only open to people who would love to compete on Squid Games The challenge and can speak English.

For those not familiar with the show, the premise is as follows:

Hundreds of cash-strapped contestants accept an invitation to compete in children’s games for a tempting prize, but the stakes are deadly.

While many of us will fight it out to the end to lose some debt, the reality competition has no intention of making anyone go that far.

Netflix is touting the show as the biggest competition of all time and they are putting up the biggest prize of all time. Currently, the show and its producers are saying that the amount of cash on the line for the winner is almost 5 million…yeah, 5 million.

Now, to claim that 5 million, competitors may be asked to beat the competition which in this scenario will be 100’s of people, not just a few.  The good news is that having so many competitors on the show increases the chances of getting a spot.

Open auditions for Squid Game: The Challenge:

The auditions for Squid Game are open to English speakers worldwide.  No need to actually leave your house to attend an open cattle call, its all being done virtually for now.  The Netflix show and its casting team have setup an online audition process that allows potential competitors to apply from pretty much anywhere in the world.  In fact, the show has broken the online audition process into three segments which are US applicants, UK applicants and Global applicants.  Each section has their own casting form which potential competitors must fill out in order to be considered to be on Squid Game.

The one thing that casting directors want everyone applying to know is that this is the application for the reality competition and that there is really no physical danger to anyone who actually get on the show.  Yep, unlike the actual show, no physical harm will come to those that lose.  The only damage you may face will be that of your own pride.

Pride actually isn’t the only thing on the line for the competitors who get cast to be on Squid Games… lots of money is as well.  The show is offering one of the biggest prizes ever… close to 5 million dollars.

Big Brother Video Casting Call for 2023

Get on Big Brother.

Love the show? Here is a chance to actually participate as the Big Brother producers are looking for participants for next season, 2023.

Big Brother season 25 for 2023 is now casting…and, they are doing it online.  Big Brother is now accepting video auditions for the 2023 season of the very popular, and long running reality competition show.

Big Brother 25 is now hosting an open online casting call because season 24 is running now. Big Brother, the new season premiered on CBS this summer and is still running strong. The show runs in North America and is popular in the United States and Canada, even though Canada has its own version of Big Brother. The United States Version of Big Brother is hosted by Julie Chen Moonves, and it follows a cast that always have…well, Big Brother watching them. The show puts strangers into a house and the TV audience gets to watch the drama unfold as all the Big Brother contestants are hoping to be the last ones standing in order to win a cool quarter million as a prize.

Like many other popular reality shows, Big Brother is also doing virtual, online auditions for upcoming seasons of the very long running CBS show. Prior to Covid, the show and its casting team held live, in person auditions all around the US.

Covid changed all that.  The show did not host any live or in person auditions in 2022, however, other major CBS reality shows like Survivor, have now begun to host a few live auditions and there is actually a tryout for Survivor coming up later this summer in Bowling Green.  So, there is still a chance that Big Brother may also be announcing some live auditions in 2022 for the 2023 season of the show.

Fans of the show still have a chance to get cast in upcoming seasons… they will simply have to tape their auditions themselves. Like many other shows, Big Brother has created a pretty straight forward online audition process for those that would like to have their auditions seen by the show’s casting directors.

Big Brother is one of the longest running reality shows on TV. The show first aired in the 1999 TV season and has been going strong for almost 2 decades now. Big Brother is now looking for people to cast for upcoming seasons. This page will be updated if any in person open calls are announced for Big Brother, however, it is not likely that there will be any open tryouts for the show in person this year.

About the show:

This reality series follows 10 strangers as they live in a house outfitted with 28 cameras and 60 microphones to record their every move 24 hours a day. Armed with only the bare essentials for living and a small household allowance, the house guests attempt to live together for three months with no contact from the outside world.

Big Brother is now accepting applications for season 24!

Welcome to the Big Brother casting website.

All applicants must be a citizen of the United States and meet the eligibility requirements in order to be considered.

Big Brother is now accepting applications for season 25!

Need some tips about how to make the best possible audition video for the show? Well, the show’s producers have in fact created a video with tips for those that would love to get on Big Brother.

At this time we encourage every applicant to apply online. Although we are hopeful that in the future we will be able to hold open calls around the country, it is important that every person complete an online application in case this is not possible. Please check back regularly in case this changes and you are able to meet one of our team in person at an event near your home town.

Those interested must submit their audition videos and other information at the following URL:

There are other shows that may also be casting online, via video auditions.  Check them out here.

Synopsis: Adorkable community college student John is in a classic love triangle composed of his closest lifelong friends. His love for Eileen, his jealousy of Sam, and the mystery of their newfound closeness lead John to ask a 4chan-esque message board for advice, solace, and sympathy. As his situation spirals and his desperation escalates, we are left to wonder – is John the rom-com protagonist he portrays online, or has this anonymous choir made him a monster? And are the two so different?

Role – John: Young man, 20s, dorky. John is a self-described nerd attending community college and descending into radical internet misogyny. He is deeply jealous of Sam, obsessed with Eileen, insecure in his masculinity, and views himself as a classic underdog rom-com lead. Over the course of the short he transforms from kind-if-awkward to raving and monstrous. Must be comfortable singing (no talent/training required) and delivering extremely hateful dialogue.

Role – Eileen: Young woman, 20s, punkish. Eileen is a community college student who hides her fears, concerns, and trauma behind a powerful outward confidence and alternative flair. Queer but largely closeted, she has been helping Sam through their gender exploration in secret for months now. John is a close childhood friend who she’s been hesitant to come out to, and she’s scared of how his increasingly obvious romantic interest in her will impact their friendship and life-long trio.

Role – Sam: Young AMAB person questioning their gender, 20s, ideally athletic.
Sam’s charisma and status as the college’s standout athlete makes them a paragon of masculinity to many in the school, including John – a status they deeply resent. Sam is questioning their gender identity behind closed doors, and has been experimenting with female presentation with Eileen since confiding in her. Facing rejection, hatred, and potentially violence from their family and school, Sam is desperate to bridge the deepening gap between them and John. Must be willing to present male in most scenes, female in the climax.

About Us: We are film students in the UW PCE Film & Video Production program, entering our third quarter where we will complete capstone projects for use as portfolio material for job and graduate school applications, potential festival submissions, and celebration of our growth as filmmakers. Our budget is low as all expenses will be out-of-pocket, but all aspects of principal photography will be conducted in a professional manner in line with industry-standard covid precautions under the guidance of our extremely experienced professors. We will rely heavily on your dedication, drive, and professionalism as we attempt to execute this ambitious and deeply personal project.
Past Work: The Producer/Writer/Director of this short previously collaborated with our DP on another short, in the capacities of Co-Writer/Director and DP/Editor respectively. We are proud of Short Notice and look forward to your help out-doing ourselves with > Be Me
