Victor is a gifted artist, hoping to start a relationship with a girl he just met.

The Muse- Female – 25-30 years
The Muse finds a new love. She inspires her new love to help free her from the control of an abusive obsessed ex- boyfriend; The Muse- This is a physical acting role. Choreography or Ballet experience is a plus. This role focuses on elegant movements.

The Boyfriend – Derrick – 25-30 years
Derrick is struggling to find inspiration. He cheats on his girlfriend with his Muse, and soon finds himself in a lot of trouble.

The Wise Man – Fellow – 25-45
Fellow tries to warn Derrick of the dangers surrounding him.

The Gang Boss / Ex-boyfriend -Mr.Obey – 25-30 years
Mr.Obey is an obsessed ex boyfriend, gang boss, who won’t allow his ex-girlfriend to date anyone else.

Gang Member #1 – MERCILESS – 25-30 years
MERCILESS is a Gang Member who works for Mr.Obey. His job is to handle the execution of Mr.Obey’s plans;

Ernie: Mid 20s. Any ethnicity. Ernie is a socially awkward, kind of a geek. Would prefer to stay at home with a movie or video game as go out with friends. Has an acute fear of attractive women: Calignyephobia. Deep down Ernie knows he needs to change but, he keeps hiding from his problems.

Jennifer: Late 20s. Any ethnicity. A bit of a tom boy. Jennifer is an extroverted and exuberant. Has no trouble making friends. She doesn’t like being at home alone. However, Jennifer does have a distrust of men. She has a fear of being in a relationship with a dishonest guy.

Lisa: Mid 20s. Any ethnicity. Lisa is a carefree devil may care kind of girl. She likes to hang out and have fun with friends. She is single and looking but not in a rush.

Stacy: Early 30s. Any ethnicity. Ernie’s sister. She is a successful business woman. Structured and organized. Stacy feels she pretty much has her life together. Stacy is the hosts of the house party. [This is a non-speaking role]

DreamWorks Film “Thank You For Your Service” Casting Call for Featured Roles

A new post war drama is in the works and filming around the Atlanta area this winter.

The DreamWorks film, “Thank You for Your Service,” has a casting call out for featured extras as well as a request to the families that lost a loved one in a war. The films Writer / director would like to memorialize the lives of soldiers and pay tribute to the service they gave to our country by featuring their name and picture in the film.

Please see the available featured roles listed below as well as more information about getting a loved one featured in the film’s memorial scene.

DreamWorks’ “Thank You for Your Service” will offer a look at how Post Traumatic Stress Disorder affects American servicemen and women returning home from war. The movie will follow a group of soldiers that are returning home from the Iraq war to find that the stresses of war have come home with them. The film will follow their struggle to re-integrate into life as civilians while being haunted by the memories of the war they just left. The film was originally a project that Steven Spielberg was taking on with Daniel Day-Lewis possibly taking the lead role, but those plans have changed “American Sniper” writer Jason Hall is heading up the film as writer (screenplay) and director. The movie has been in the works for a few years now and finally in production with Jason Hall making his directorial debut on this.

According to IMDB, the movie will be released this year, 2016, but a specific release date is yet to be set. Miles Teller and Haley Bennett will be starring in “Thank You for Your Service.“ “Thank You for Your Service“ is based on a nonfiction book about PTSD written by Pulitzer Prize winning writer, David Finkel.

Who We Are
Jason Hall (writer, American Sniper) is directing a movie he wrote for Steven Spielberg and Amblin Partners entitled Thank You For Your Service, based on the book by David Finkel. The story follows a group of U.S. soldiers returning from Iraq who struggle to integrate back into family and civilian life, coping with the memory of a war that threatens to destroy them long after they’ve left the battlefield.

Our Request of You
Jason would like to honor the memory of service men and women who have given the ultimate sacrifice for our country, including those who have died in combat or by suicide. Should you choose to participate, we will display your loves one’s name on a dog tag featured in the film alongside other fallen heroes. The image is meant to memorialize their lives and pay tribute to the service they gave to our country. We are accepting veterans of all U.S. engagements over the last century. Additionally, if you would like us to feature your veteran’s picture on a Wall of Honor in the film’s VA, please also include a military portrait of your loved one in uniform.

Casting Call for Netflix “The Get Down” in NYC – Extras Multi-day Booking

Baz Luhrman’s new Netflix series, “The Get Down” is now filming in the New York City area.

A new Netflix project about the beginnings of the hip hop music scene is now in production in New York City. The show is looking to cast background actors to play waiters at a 1970s club. There are costumes involved and talent cast must be comfortable in minimal attire while wearing angel wings. This is a rush call and talent will need to attend a costume fitting in the NYC area on the 1st. The scene will be filming on the 9th, 10th and 11th in New York City.

Great Gatsby director, Baz Luhrman is heading up the new Netflix project. The Get Down is described as a musical drama and is being produced by Sony Pictures Television. The series will be available on Netflix sometime in 2016. The show has just released a teaser for the series, check it out below.

Focusing on the early days of hip hop and punk rock music, “The Get Down” is described as “a mythic saga of how New York at the brink of bankruptcy gave birth to hip-hop, punk and disco.” The show is set in 1970s New York City, a time when New York City was cash strapped, plagued with street violence and urban decay. Luhrman has spend the last decade developing the project and it will be Baz Luhrmann’s first TV show. “The Get Down” stars Will Smith’s son, Jadeen Smith. Luhrman is best known for his films “Moulin Rouge,” and “The Great Gatsby”.

When Mariela, an undocumented immigrant from Mexico, is diagnosed with kidney failure, her family scrambles to save her life. Dialysis treatments are costly, and without health insurance, her daughter Jenni and husband Leo resolve to smuggle her back into Mexico where they can afford the treatments for her chronic condition.

“Salvation” directed by Jason Outenreath, will film on weekends between April 22 -May 2, 2016 in Austin, Texas.
