Auditioning Vocalists For Original Dance Musical: Crystal Ballroom

Award-winning Actors Scene Unseen has a few audition appointments still available in its search for a male and female vocalist for its production of Crystal Ballroom at the Booth Playhouse in March 2011. Vocalists should have an appreciation of, and a vocal style suitable for Rock, Pop, and new wave music. Crystal Ballroom will be directed by Dr. Elizabeth Peterson-Vita, music directed by Alan Kaufman, and choreographed by world-renowned Taliat Tarsinov.
We are auditioning for 1 male and 1 female vocalist to complete our “Blaze of Glory” ensemble to perform 28 songs from the canon of Rock / New Wave legend Joe Jackson. The song styles are rock, pop, new wave, and jazz.
Auditions will be held Saturday 11/20/2010 2PM to 6PM. There will be five performances in the Booth Playhouse Friday 3/25/2011, Saturday 3/26/2011, and Sunday 3/27/2011. Auditions will be held in our studio on 7th street in Charlotte. Callbacks, if necessary, will be held at a time to be determined.
Vocalists must bring a copy of their resume, headshot, and sheet music to sing a complete pop, rock, or new wave song. An accompanist will be provided. An audition appointment is required. To make an appointment send an email to producer@actorssceneunseen.com
