Chicago PD – Casting Notice.

We’re collecting submissions for Episode 14007 of Chicago PD. This episode takes place in predominantly African American neighborhoods.

There is a photo double opportunity for minors at the bottom of this post.

FOR GENERAL SUBMISSIONS: PLEASE USE THE GOOGLE FORM IF POSSIBLE. We open every email submission and manually transfer your info and availability to a spreadsheet, so we strongly encourage you to use the form instead of emailing your submission. If you receive an error message, please try the following troubleshooting tips:

This submission form is for general background roles, which means they’re open to any gender, any ethnicity, ages 9 and older WITHIN THE CHICAGOLAND AREA (2 hrs of Chicago). **IF SUBMITTING A MINOR (AGES 9-15): Please submit your child via email (cpdbackground@gmail.com; subject line “EPISODE 14007 MINOR”) with the following info included:
• Minor’s name
• Parent/guardian’s name
• Parent/guardian’s cell phone #
• Zip code
• Minor’s age
• Minor’s height/weight
• Minor’s clothing sizes: (t-shirt, pants, shoe)
• Attach a copy of the minor’s work permit
• 1-2 current photos of your child (taken within the last week)
Teens ages 16+ can use the availability form, if preferred.
General background roles pay $136.40/8. The pay rate is a flat rate for any time worked up to 8 hours (it is not an hourly rate), with time + 1/2 after 8 hours. If we book you with your vehicle to be parked on set, there will be a $35 bump added to your pay. Pay for minors (ages 6-15) is $160/8. Teens aged 16 and older receive the adult (general) BG rate.

– PHOTOS: Please submit a headshot or a full length photo that reflects your current look/hairstyle. DO NOT APPLY FILTERS, DO NOT SEND A PROFESSIONAL HEADSHOT.
– TATTOOS: Please provide photos of ALL tattoos that can be seen in a short sleeve t-shirt. This includes face/neck, arms, and hands/fingers. If you do not have tattoos, state NO TATTOOS. **If you submit via the Google form, we will reach out to obtain your tattoo photos at the time of booking.
-AVAILABLE DATES: Please list all available dates between Friday 9/25 and Wednesday 10/7. We do not film on weekends (M-F only). Call times are usually early in the morning (unless otherwise noted) and filming days typically last 8-12 hours. Do not submit availability for the day if you have any time constraints.

Role: We are looking for an African American male to act as a photo double for a cast member. Requirements:
– Between 9 and 13 years old
– Between 4’4″ and 4’6″ tall
– Roughly 55-65 lbs
Filming will be MULTIPLE days during the episode. In your submission, please let us know your child’s availability between Monday 9/28 and Wednesday 10/7. You do not need to be available every day, but you will have the opportunity to work multiple days if your schedule allows for it. We can split this role between 2 kids, if necessary.
Photo requirements: Please make sure to send photos of your child’s head (so we can see their hair from all angles) in your email submission: front facing (like a driver’s license), left profile, right profile, and back of the head. We will also need a full length photo to determine who is a good physical/body match to the actor.
Pay: $191.04/8 (photo double rate)
