Chicago PD – Casting Notice.

We’re collecting submissions for Episode 14008 of Chicago PD.
FOR GENERAL SUBMISSIONS: PLEASE USE THE GOOGLE FORM IF POSSIBLE. We open every email submission and manually transfer your info and availability to a spreadsheet, so we strongly encourage you to use the form instead of emailing your submission. If you receive an error message, please try the following troubleshooting tips:

This submission form is for general background roles, which means they’re open to any gender, any ethnicity, ages 3 and older WITHIN THE CHICAGOLAND AREA (2 hrs of Chicago). **IF SUBMITTING A MINOR (AGES 3-15): Please submit your child via email (cpdbackground@gmail.com; subject line “EPISODE 14008 MINOR”) with the following info included:
• Minor’s name
• Parent/guardian’s name
• Parent/guardian’s cell phone #
• Zip code
• Minor’s age
• Minor’s height/weight
• Minor’s clothing sizes: (t-shirt, pants, shoe)
• Attach a copy of the minor’s work permit
• 1-2 current photos of your child (taken within the last week)

Teens ages 16+ can use the availability form, if preferred.

General background roles pay $136.40/8. The pay rate is a flat rate for any time worked up to 8 hours (it is not an hourly rate), with time + 1/2 after 8 hours. If we book you with your vehicle to be parked on set, there will be a $35 bump added to your pay. Pay for minors (ages 3-15) is $160/8. Teens aged 16 and older receive the adult (general) BG rate.

– TATTOOS: Please provide photos of ALL tattoos that can be seen in a short sleeve t-shirt. This includes face/neck, arms, and hands/fingers. If you do not have tattoos, state NO TATTOOS. **If you submit via the Google form, we will reach out to obtain your tattoo photos at the time of booking.
-AVAILABLE DATES: Please list all available dates between Thursday 10/8 and Monday 10/19. We do not film on weekends (M-F only). Call times will vary in this episode, ranging from early mornings to late nights and overnight shoots. Filming days typically last 8-12 hours. Do not submit availability for the day if you have any time constraints.
– LATE NIGHTS / OVERNIGHTS: Are you willing to work with a wrap time expected around midnight or later (TBD dates)? Are you willing to work an overnight shoot on Friday 10/9? This would mean an evening call time and wrap will be the following morning. (Example: 6pm call time Friday night, 6am wrap Saturday morning)

Please make sure to read ALL details regarding the role and the requirements before submitting.
REQUIREMENTS:
– Caucasian female
– Early-mid 30s (30-35 years old)
– Comfortable laying on the ground for filming
– Ability to work a late night shoot (evening call time, early morning hour wrap time)
– Comfortable with SPFX blood/makeup (you are playing a victim)
– Comfortable with kids (you will be interacting with a child actor for for still photos, so we want this to look natural, like there’s a real mother & son bond)
– Flexible schedule. You will be needed for filming and still photos on different dates

Submission deadline: Monday 10/5 at 9pm

Director-selection will be Tuesday morning
Wardrobe fitting: Tentatively Wednesday 10/7
Filming: Friday 10/9 (expect a wrap time sometime between midnight and 3am, tentatively)
Still photos: Date(s) TBD during the week of 10/12 – 10/16
Pay rates:
– Filming date: $300/8 + $25 fitting bump
– Still photo dates: $136.40/8 (per day)

You’ll be playing in the park together, taking family photos, etc.
