Chicago PD – General Availability Form
We’re collecting submissions for Episode 14003 of Chicago PD. Please see the very bottom of this post for some descriptions of particular roles we are looking to cast for.

FOR GENERAL SUBMISSIONS: PLEASE USE THE GOOGLE FORM IF POSSIBLE. We open every email submission and manually transfer your info and availability to a spreadsheet, so we strongly encourage you to use the form instead of emailing your submission. If you receive an error message, please try the following troubleshooting tips:
• Clear your cache / cookies (if you use Safari)
• Try using Chrome
• Try using a laptop instead of a phone
This submission form is for general background roles, which means they’re open to any gender, any ethnicity, ages 9 and older WITHIN THE CHICAGOLAND AREA (2 hrs of Chicago). **IF SUBMITTING A MINOR (AGES 9-15): Please submit your child via email (cpdbackground@gmail.com; subject line “EPISODE 14003 MINOR”) with the following info included:
• Minor’s name
• Parent/guardian’s name
• Parent/guardian’s cell phone #
• Zip code
• Minor’s age
• Minor’s height/weight
• Minor’s clothing sizes: (t-shirt, pants, shoe)
• Attach a copy of the minor’s work permit
Teens ages 16+ can use the availability form, if preferred.

General background roles pay $136.40/8. The pay rate is a flat rate for any time worked up to 8 hours (it is not an hourly rate), with time + 1/2 after 8 hours. If we book you with your vehicle to be parked on set, there will be a $35 bump added to your pay. Pay for minors (ages 6-15) is $160/8. Teens aged 16 and older receive the adult (general) BG rate.

You can submit via email, however, it is preferred that you use the Google form. Please only submit 1 way / 1 time. You do not need to use the availability form and send an email. Please choose one or the other.

– MEASUREMENTS
•MALES: Coat/jacket, t-shirt, neck/sleeve length, waist x inseam, shoe
•Example: 44R, t-L, 16.5/33, 32×32, 11
•FEMALES: Pants, t-shirt, bra/cup, waist, shoe
•Example: 8, t-M, 34B, w30”, 7
– VEHICLE OR METHOD OF TRANSPORTATION
•Year, color, make & model
•Example: 2020 Silver Toyota Camry or Uber
– PHOTOS: Please submit a headshot or a full length photo that reflects your current look/hairstyle. DO NOT APPLY FILTERS, DO NOT SEND A PROFESSIONAL HEADSHOT.
– TATTOOS: Please provide photos of ALL tattoos that can be seen in a short sleeve t-shirt. This includes face/neck, arms, and hands/fingers. If you do not have tattoos, state NO TATTOOS. **If you submit via the Google form, we will reach out to obtain your tattoo photos at the time of booking.
-AVAILABLE DATES: Please list all available dates between Friday 8/14 and Tuesday 8/25. We do not film on weekends (M-F only). Call times will fluctuate between early morning hours, and late nights wrapping after 1am. A typical filming day last 8-12 hours. Do not submit availability for the day if you have any time constraints.

Specific dates have not been determined yet, but we will be looking for background actors to play the following roles below. You do not need to submit any differently than the instructions given above – we’re just letting everyone know what character types we’re looking for, to gain interest and potentially some new faces on camera.
