Paid Extras Roles in Chicago for “Chicago PD” Television Series

Chicago PD – Extras casting Notice.

Chicago P.D. is currently in production in the Chicagoland area and the NBC police procedural drama is looking for background actors to fit certain roles.  Please note that you must actually live in the Chicago, Illinois area in order to be considered as no travel costs are being paid.

We’re collecting submissions for Episode 13016 of Chicago PD.

This episode takes place primarily in African American neighborhoods, and we are looking for ALL AGES, from young children to seniors. We do have several scenes for all ethnicities, so please do not let this discourage you from submitting.

FOR GENERAL SUBMISSIONS: PLEASE USE THE GOOGLE FORM, IF AT ALL POSSIBLE. We open every single email submission and manually transfer your info and availability to a spreadsheet, so we strongly encourage you to use the form instead of emailing your submission. If you receive an error message, please try the following troubleshooting tips:

  • Clear your cache / cookies (if you use Safari)
  • Try using Chrome
  • Try using a laptop instead of a phone

This submission form is for general background roles, which means they’re open to any gender, any ethnicity, ages 4 and older WITHIN THE CHICAGOLAND AREA (2 hrs of Chicago).

For any parents filling out the availability form for their child, we will reach out to you via email in order to make sure you have a minor work permit for them. OR, you can submit via email (see instructions below). Permits are valid for 1 year from the date of issue, so it’s worth it to get it now, and have it ready to go for any future filming opportunities.

General background roles for ages 16 and older pay $132.80/8. The pay rate is a flat rate for any time worked up to 8 hours (it is not an hourly rate), with time + 1/2 after 8 hours. If we book you with your vehicle to be parked on set, there will be a $35 bump added to your pay. No red or white vehicles, please. Pay rate for minors (15 and younger) is $160/8.

MALES: Coat/jacket, t-shirt, neck/sleeve length, waist x inseam, shoe

FEMALES: Dress/pants, t-shirt, bra/cup, waist, shoe
Example: 8, t-M, 34B, w30”, 7

– VEHICLE OR METHOD OF TRANSPORTATION

– PHOTOS: Please submit a headshot and a full length photo that reflects your current look/hairstyle. DO NOT APPLY FILTERS, DO NOT SEND A PROFESSIONAL HEADSHOT. If you submit via the Google Form, select either a headshot OR full length photo.

– TATTOOS: Please provide photos of ALL tattoos that can be seen in a short sleeve t-shirt. This includes face/neck, arms, and hands/fingers. If you do not have tattoos, state NO TATTOOS. **If you submit via the Google form, we will reach out to obtain your tattoo photos prior to booking.

– WORK PERMIT: If submitting a minor ages 15 and younger, please attach a copy of their NBC Universal work permit. If you do not have a permit, we will send you the forms and instructions to obtain one.

-AVAILABLE DATES: Please list all available dates between Wednesday 1/21 and Friday 1/30. We do not film on weekends (M-F only). Call times are usually early in the morning (unless otherwise noted) and filming days typically last 8-12 hours. Do not submit availability for the day if you have any time constraints.
