The Center for Asian Arts and Media at Columbia College Chicago presents the legendary Broadway musical Flower Drum Song, to be performed in Chicago August 20-21, 2010.

Audition for your chance to be part of the ensemble cast:

Wednesday, May 19, 2010
10:00am – 5:00pm
Getz Theatre
Columbia College Chicago
72 E. 11th St., Chicago, IL 60605

* Seeking dancers/singers of Asian descent.
* Performers should be proficient in both dancing and singing.
* Please bring an up-tempo song and a ballad that are appropriate for the show.
* Also bring ballet and jazz shoes. (Women should bring character shoes with heels.)
* Accompanist will be provided.
* This is a non-equity production.
* Selected performers will be paid an honorary stipend.

Audition Schedule:

* 10:00am – 12:00pm: Women
* 12:30pm – 2:30pm: Men
* 3:00pm – 5:00pm: Callbacks to sing and read for understudy

The production will have a 3-show run–Friday, August 20, 2010 (evening) and Saturday, August 21, 2010 (matinee & evening)–at the Merle Reskin Theatre in downtown Chicago.
